Page 5 - weddings

Hey there! My name is Carrie and I run Caroline Rose Photography in the greater central Ohio area. I’ve been shooting portraits, weddings and everything in between for the last 11 years. For as long as I can remember I’ve always had a camera in my hand whether it was a polaroid, disposable or digital I’ve loved them all the same. I emphasize shooting most portraits in natural lighting so it reflects the mood of the day similar to lifestyle photography.

I photograph about 30 weddings a year. While I talk about being a Spokane Wedding Photographer, Looyenga Photography goes all over the country. We've photographed weddings in Los Angeles, Portland, Seattle  and many other places on the West Coast. But creating stunning wedding photography was never the thing I always wanted to do, it was never that job I always wanted to have.

"TRUE LOVERS DON'T MARRY SOMEONE THEY CAN LIVE WITH, THEY MARRY SOMEONE THEY CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT."

THE MOMENT...

It is such a sweet moment, the moment right after a couple says "I do." In that sweet little moment two people become one. They make a commitment to each other to love one another with a fierce love that just shuts out everything and everyone else around them. In that moment, only they exist. It is that moment, the love between two individuals, that I love to photograph.

Hi everyone! My name is Ashley Neuenschwander, owner of Ashley's Photo Designs LLC of Northwest Ohio. I am a pretty ordinary person; a lover of books, adventure, thriller movies, renovating houses, and my two adorable pit bulls. Coming down to it, my business would not have existed if it weren't for my dad. He always had a DSLR growing up and captured memories as we traveled and the holidays came and went by. One summer day I was bored as a seventeen year old and picked up the camera to photograph nature. I instantly got interested and that very day I started a Facebook page and took a huge leap of faith. I'm not one to step outside of my comfort zone (except for doing crazy things that give me an adrenaline rush!), but I had so much support and encouragement. Little did I know that at 22 years old I would be photographing 10+ weddings a year! I am so very blessed to do something I'm passionate about, especially with my husband as my second shooter and interpreter. Yes, you read that right - I speak a foreign language.. American Sign Language that is. :) I was born profoundly Deaf and am the third generation in my family to be Deaf. There are trials and challenges, but I wouldn't have it any other way and I truly believe it makes me a better photographer. Usually I'm the one surprising clients when they meet me, but they have surprised me so many times with knowing some sign language. I am so grateful to have a job that gives me the opportunity to continuously meet new people! Clients have become friends, and I always feel incredibly honored they trust me enough to capture the biggest days of their lives, their families as they grow up, or their senior before they go off to venture through life.

Rachel Evelyn Photography - Southwest Michigan Wedding Photographer

Hello! I’m Rachel, an engagement and wedding photographer based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I am a natural light photographer currently serving the Southwest Michigan area. My passion is providing clients with tangible memories of one of the biggest days in their lives. I photograph everything from the big “wow” moments, all the way to the close and intimate emotions shared between two people that love each other. I would describe my style as photo-journalistic, as I like to interfere as little as possible and document their story as it unfolds before me. While I do balance with instruction and posing throughout the day, keeping things simple provides a candid and natural experience.

I have been a wedding photographer for 5 years now, and still get butterflies before every  wedding. I take great pride in being chosen to capture these moments for such special people, and providing them with memories so they can share their story for the rest of their lives.

Below is an intimate and trendy wedding from this past year at The Kalamazoo Country Club in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The genuine love between this couple and their closest family and friends, shines through in each expression and embrace. Each detail, from the pastel pinks found in her bouquet, along with the simple and elegant accents of gold and draping greenery, balance perfectly with the beauty and happiness of the day.

Alyssa and Neal were an absolute joy to get to know. The below images are some of my favorites from this past year. Enjoy!

Cooper’s Photography was started over 20 years ago in Winston-Salem, NC.  During that time I had a strong interest in art using charcoal media to create portraits.  I used my camera to take photos of my subjects and then sketch them onto canvas.  An acquaintance that knew of my interest in photography asked me to photograph her wedding.  Even though I never photographed a wedding before, I researched the process and did a decent job.

Hey! My name is Kiyah and I'm the destination and Atlanta wedding photographer behind Kiyah C Photography. I'm a daydreamer, a dessert lover, and a storyteller. I yearn to tell memorable, emotional, and joy-filled stories of love and adventure through photographs.

After years of documenting my everyday life with my first digital camera, I photographed my first Atlanta wedding at The Swan Coach House in 2014. That day, I fell in love! My couple chose and trusted me to capture one of the most beautiful and precious days of their life. My photography style is photojournalistic and emotional. I capture a wedding day as it unfolds, documenting all of the big and small details culminated into one breathtaking story of the wedding day.

One of my favorite wedding days was Brittany & Phillip's December wedding at Deercreek Country Club in Jacksonville, Florida. There was no shortage of tears, laughter, and that good Florida sunshine, all of which I love. Brittany shared a first look with

"Seeking to capture the fleeting beauty of the everyday and the extraordinary"

I was always a bit of a dreamer as a kid, and I remember getting lost in my grandmother's impressionist paintings that were hung around her house in Sedona, AZ.  A portrait of a girl in the middle of a field, eyes cast toward the tall grasses, lost in her own world and another of a young woman, bright with color, sipping a drink in a french cafe. To this day I am still moved by her paintings, how she captured the light, the simplicity of a lost moment and little did I know that this too has become so much a part of my work as an artist.  Fleeting, light infused magical moments of the everyday and the extraordinary.  I continually set out to capture that next painting in my mind.

Likewise, I bring this style to all I do and love nothing more than working with my incredible clients, capturing their beautiful stories for years to come...

Destination Photographer + Creative Associate based out of Brooklyn,

Hi there, my name is Natashia Nicole, and I am the lead photographer and owner of Natashia Nicole Photography. I am a fine art Wisconsin Wedding Photographer. I am so thrilled to be a guest blogger for Basic Invite. I am in love with everything they do, so this opportunity is just wonderful! I can't wait to fill you in about myself and everything that my team and I have to offer.

I am a fine art film wedding photographer based in Central Wisconsin. We live in a small town, but travel to larger cities like Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay, and Chicago for most of our weddings. My passion is weddings; I live and breathe everything wedding related. I love fine art style weddings, and have been internationally published in fine art film wedding magazines.

Photography has been a hobby of mine for as long as I can remember. My photography style is real, organic, and genuine. My goal is to give all of my couples not only an amazing experience, but also beautiful images that will be treasured

I've always been a creator. Writing poetry, drawing cartoons for the school newspaper, taking photos of family during thanksgiving dinner with a cheap little digital camera. I've always had this need to create and preserve memories and emotions in a tangible form. I picked up my first DSLR camera with the hope of capturing those fleeting moments of happiness, love and intimacy that two people experience when they are truly meant for one another.

When I'm able to connect with couples on a personal level, that's the space I want to occupy. It goes deeper than a simple client/vendor agreement and becomes an actual relationship. It's my goal to deliver the Trulove Experience. Attentiveness, quality and dedication. You deserve to love your wedding day images.

I'm sincerely humbled whenever I'm trusted to capture someones wedding day and I'm so happy Josai and Irashema allowed me to be a part of their celebration. Thank you Basic Invite for the feature. I am eternally grateful. If you'd like
