Hey there y'all! My name is Angela and I am the owner and the lady behind the lens over at Studio Masters. I am based out of Overland Park, Kansas (Metro Kansas City) but I often travel for weddings. You can read more about me and why I do what I do (hint, I take A LOT of pictures) over on my bio page, so I won't bore you with the details here. Basic Invite asked me to guest blog about my favorite session and I know exactly which one comes to mind. This past October, I shot a sweetheart engagement session at Lake Jacomo for my wedding clients, Renee and Jeff so keep scrolling so you can see for yourself exactly why it was so fabulous!
Hi there! I'm Heather, a Southeast Michigan wedding and portrait photographer. When I was asked to share one of my favorite sessions, I admit I had to think long and hard - there is something special about each and every person I photograph and it's not easy to choose a favorite.
Hey there! I’m Nikki from Whatnot Shop Photography in Cleveland, and I happily capture lovely couples and families in Northeast Ohio. I LOVE love, and enjoy working with couples to realize their dreams and to preserve one of the happiest days of their life in images. This was definitely the case with an amazing couple, Sarah and Andrew. After meeting Sarah for the first time, with her infectious smile and genuine personality, I knew I simply had to photograph their wedding! Lucky for me, she agreed! The details she enthusiastically shared during our meeting came to life at her aunt and uncle’s multi-generational organic family farm. County Line Farm in Wadsworth, Ohio set the stage for the special day!Â
One of the reasons we at Sheena Shahangian Photography love photographing adventure elopements and small weddings is that they really allow a couple to have a wedding day that truly feels like "them." Their day is no longer dictated by the rules of the wedding industry and they have the freedom to customize a wedding that looks however they want it to. And beyond that, elopements give couples a level of privacy and adventure that might not be possible at all with a large, traditional wedding. We love this Mt Rainier wedding in particular because it accomplishes exactly that.
Hi friends, my name is Stephanie Gore. I am a wedding and portrait photographer based in Macon, Georgia and I seriously don’t think I could love my job anymore than I do!
We are Marissa and Lauren, the M and the L behind ML Photo & Film. We are sisters, two peas in a pod, and we started ML Photo & Film in 2013. At that time we were each working random jobs (Marissa was a bank teller and Lauren was a sales associate in retail) but we both knew we wanted to do something more! We had a passion for photography and videography and were pursuing it on the side for years until we took the leap of faith in 2013 and dove full force in and started ML Photo & Film. We shot our first wedding that year and have never looked back! Since then we’ve had the great fortune to photograph and film weddings across the US and even abroad but there is one day that truly stands out in our minds. It’s the day of Kim and Q’s mountaintop elopement.
Getting to work with my clients and their families on easily one of the happiest days of their lives is the biggest honor and one of my life's greatest blessings. Taking my client's wedding dream vision and making it a reality, hiring the best vendor teams, all while remaining calm and making sure that all elements go off without a hitch.
This engagement session was at The Knob in Falmouth, MA. Such a magical place for such an amazing couple.Â
The weather was so nice on these last days of September. The location was just perfect. The Knob is pretty special place - a little hike through the woods to the beach. As you get closer you start hearing the ocean roaring. And then you see it - and it is amazing.Â
