Hi I am Sarosh. I am a Fashion and Wedding Photographer based in Washington DC Metro Area. I was born in a beautiful place called Kashmir, India. Kashmir is a place of beautiful simplicity and pristine natural beauty. Kashmir has a variety of terrains ranging from lakes, snow-capped mountains, coniferous kissed hills to glacier fed rivers. Its famous for its handicrafts, woolen shawls, apples, saffron and cultural diversity.
Kashmir, IndiaI started my career as a Travel photographer and a Tour Guide in the Himalayas. I can write a book on my adventures.
Since moving to US, I worked with different clients and photographers but now I have my own company Photographyia, Inc. and work as a independent photographer.
Summer is here and its time for the DC Swim Week 2018 being held from 26-28 July.
I have covered this event for the past 3 years. I love this event besides meeting beautiful models and designers, this gives me a chance to enhance my skills. I like meeting other photographers and sharing ideas. This also helps me build my network and get business leads.
I want to be different and try shooting from different angles, use different lights and lens. I am very prompt in delivering my photos to the event organizers.
When I am shooting I go into my trance mode. I do not see anything else except my subjects. I am open to suggestions and work closely with the creative teams which include designers, makeup artists, hair dressers and event planners.
Photography is my passion and it keeps me alive. I love portrait photography and black and white photography.
Besides photography I love sports, music and traveling. I feel very strongly about conservation and global warming.
