South Carolina Wedding Photographer

After jumping the broom, the reception is over, and all the guest have disappear from your wedding. That is the time  when you start a new life as husband and wife. Of course, the honeymoon is going to be amazingly filled with hugs and kisses day after day. Then, unfortunately that also comes to an end and you realize after you get married is when you find out that your spouse in indeed the love of your life.

Rustic Weddings where do we begin? Hello, I am Troy Compton with Switchback Photography in Anderson, South Carolina. I have to say it is a true joy being a wedding, family and lifestyle photographer here in the Upstate of South Carolina. Being nestled into the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and only a short drive from the beaches,  I have been privileged to photograph so many weddings in so many different types of venues, but  there are a couple reasons that this wedding sticks out in my mind as one of my favorites. Because, it was literally two miles from my house, and two, I am a sucker for rustic, Southern Charm.

We are blessed to work in an amazing part of the country. We are minutes away from the Blue Ridge mountains of western North Carolina and just a few quick hours from the beach. This bridal session left me starry-eyed and completely enamored with what I get to do. Laura's friends owned some land out in the middle of nowhere that they graciously let us explore as long as there was light.  We hiked over creeks, frolicked in fields, explored deep in the woods, and went wherever we wanted. These kind friends also offered us their golf cart so we could explore every corner of their property before the sun went down.

Hey there! I'm Jillian Banks of Backyard Photography.  I chose that name for my business because I love the outdoors and I love using natural light with all its glory.  I started photography way back when in high school but was a late bloomer and didn't start doing it professionally until about three years ago. I think people choose me for not only the way I use light but my laid back personality.  I'm a silly person, and I'll do anything to make my clients laugh so that I can capture their true smile.

Hello beautiful readers of the Basic Invite blog!  My name is Jessica Charles.  I'm a wedding photographer based in gorgeous Greenville, SC.  I actually recently moved here from St. Petersburg, FL.  Traded the beach for the mountains & loving every moment!  I'm very excited to start shooting mountain weddings.  But I shot some stunning weddings in Florida, too.  This wedding was taken place at the historic Vinoy Renaissance.  And Elissa & Brandon are one of two of my favorite couples.  Not only do they have amazing style, but their whole wedding day was filled with emotion.

I have been in this business since 2010 and I quickly found out that couples & weddings were what I adored the most.  So, I found my niche and I stuck with it.  And I do not regret one single minute of it.  I am originally a Kentucky girl, having lived there all of my life until 2012.  My little family and I moved to South Carolina to pursue better things and things have been amazing.  I have two beautiful children with my hubby, David.  All four of us are as goofy as all get out, and I love them all so very much.  They drive me to do better and better every single day.
