Our journey with wedding & portrait photography began with a beaten up film camera waiting to be used again. We fell in love with the art of photography and with each other on the backwoods trails of Canada, surrounded by the nature that inspired us to slow down and take a deeper look at the fine details in life.

Tacoma, WA Family Photography

This small handful of photographs I am sharing with you are jewels from many family’s lives.  They are snippets of emotion that reflect how they love each other and how they engage as a family.

We are delighted to feature Tiffany Lemoine, owner and creative artist of Ahnvee Photography, located in the heart of Louisiana. Tiffany has been obsessed with capturing beauty through her lens for over 13 years now, but she decided to step out of her comfort zone and make photography a profession about a year ago. "It's been a wild ride, but what fun is a ride if it doesn't have it's ups and downs?" All jokes aside, Tiffany goes on to say that it's the best decision she's ever made. "I absolutely love what I do, and I finally feel like I have a purpose in life."

Hey y'all!  My name is Rachel and I'm a photographer in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia.  I've loved photography and capturing special moments ever since I was a teenager, but I started pursuing my passion for photography about a year ago.  Right around the time my now husband, Andrew, and I had our engagement photos taken and our wedding was quickly approaching, I realized, "Hey!  *I* want to take these kinds of photos for people!"  And so it began :-)

I photographed a few events for friends and family here and there, but the first "real" photo session I did was engagement photos for one of my best friends.  It was so much fun!  We wandered around a lake near their house that they love and captured so many sweet moments.  The groom-to-be even got poison ivy from venturing through some "pretty, green areas"!  But if the photo turned out beautifully, that means it was worth it, right?! ;-)  I loved the photos, and more importantly, so did Danielle and Phil!
