Hello! My name is Kaitie Gill and I'm the owner of Sailboat Weddings, a wedding planning business located in Central Arkansas.
I’ve always loved throwing a good party so the fact that I stumbled into the wedding planning scene doesn’t shock any of my family and friends.
How exactly did I come across the wedding world? Well, it all started in Tennessee. My husband and I moved for a marketing job I was offered working with a wedding-related company. During my time at this job, I developed a true love for all things weddings and now here I am… Planning weddings and getting to meet amazing people every single day.
We moved back to Arkansas when we decided where we wanted to plant our roots so here we are planting businesses, raising our little boy and loving life in The Natural State.

If I had to choose a favorite wedding I’ve helped coordinate thus far, it definitely would be Haley and Ryan’s December wedding. I like to call it the Vision of Cranberries wedding because they used cranberries to add a pop of color into their wedding décor.

Haley and Ryan were just overall a fun couple who radiated joy and love. Their family and friends partied literally until the clock struck midnight – Okay, so it was really 10pm because all vendors had to be out by midnight. BUT, for real, people didn’t want to leave the dance floor.

I guess that’s why it was one of my favorites. It was truly a celebration and the love and support that Haley and Ryan were shown from their guests spoke volumes.
And, as an added bonus, the photographer was a friend of mine from college, so it was nice to get to work with a fellow OBU alum.
