People have asked me "What is the best part of your job?"
For me, the answer is simple; it is and will always be the connection I feel to my clients. For us, this connection started with wedding photography. My two brothers and I, Pye Jirsa and Justin Lin, started Lin & Jirsa Photography 10 years ago, and along the ride, we made countless friends with the couples that we photographed.
The connection to these families was so strong that we knew we needed to continue documenting and storytelling the other major moments in their lives. So this is how we started Line and Roots Photography, an Orange County newborn, maternity and family photography studio. This brand allows us to continue our studio belief... that life belongs in print.
My favorite shoots are the ones that celebrate the full process, the ones with clients who initially came to us for their wedding and trusted us to document their subsequent life-changing moments. Below is one of those examples featuring a beautiful couple, Sophia and Jan.
