“I absolutely love this pattern. I was looking for a toile aesthetic without any of the typical pastoral characters; and this fairy and mushroom design was perfect. For my plaster wall, freshly painted with a custom color to match the matte backing of the wallpaper, I ordered the glissade in Eggshell and Carolina. It was especially nice that this pattern repeats at the edge perfectly with no need to keep multiple panels in a specific order - they are exactly the same, no matter how many you use. I also liked how sturdy the paper was; it did not rip easily or crinkle or pick up lots of lint/hair as I worked with it. Actually, I needed to bear down pretty hard with my new exact-o knife blade to cut off the top/bottom edges when a panel was complete. Made me feel like I couldn't hurt anything in the process and could really push this wallpaper around. The tutorials do not explain WHY you want to leave an inch at the top of the wall instead of simply starting with the already straight edge, but I figured it allows for if the ceiling is not straight all the way across. I decided to just trust the process of loosely taping a panel in place, with an inch allowance at the ceiling, and got myself a spray bottle and a ladder. The brayer included in the materials is all I needed for smoothing the panels down perfectly (as long as they were properly wet on the back). Some helpful additions were a work lamp creating raking light to reveal any bumps I missed in the first passes, a damp cloth to wipe off excess glue, and a towel on the floor to catch all the spraying/dripping water needed to activate the glue. A second person to hold the panel rolled up and keep it from getting wet all the way down as you're trying to secure the top is invaluable, too. There was one panel where I mistakenly left several dry spots right in the middle, making little proud air pockets off the wall, so I was able to test how easily the panels can be removed when I needed to peel it back and correct the mistake. More water under the edges and a little extra waiting time for saturation but then the paper came off with no rips and was still not too soggy to be adhered a second time. The product is very much as advertised when it comes to ease of application and removal. It has taken me four months to do a 12 foot wall (one 2 foot panel a day when I had the time and energy), but now that I'm finished, I am overjoyed with the look! (my picture is only partial progress but I think that's helpful when other reviews here have a finished room photo already) This is a step towards the bedroom of my dreams, and I am so happy that Love vs Design had the perfect product for my endeavor! Highly recommend.”

Review by DanielleStriped Peel And Stick Removable Wallpaper In Any Color You Can Imagine
Who doesn't like stripes? Stripes have been a design trend since the beginning of time. Stripes have worked their way into everything from men's' clothing, women's' clothing, home design. So it is no surprise that striped peel and stick wallpaper is still a big trend today. The great thing about stripes is they are so versatile, and you can use small pinstripe designs or big thick stripes, and you can even run them horizontal or vertical. Another great thing about striped patterns is that they can be paired with almost anything.
With that being said, however, there are some do's and don't when it comes to stripes. We have put together some tips for designing the perfect room when using stripes. So without further ado, here is our list.
Tips For Designing A Room With Striped Peel And Stick Removable Wallpaper
Always Always Always Measure First - Yes, I know I used the word always three times, but it will really ruin your day if you are a 6-inch stripe, and then your wall ends, and you have a one-inch stripe. Stripes are a great look, but not when they don't line up or when they are not uniform. To measure and make sure the lines will line up, "yes, that is a pun." So take your time and measure your room and then do it once more for good measure. You don't want to spend an entire Saturday hanging wallpaper to end up pulling it down because you rushed into a particular pattern, and another one would have worked out perfectly.
There Is Always Too Much Of A Good Thing - Stripes are amazing, and I am happy to be the first one to say it in any room. There is too much of a good thing when it comes to stripes. Striped walls, rugs, curtains, pillows are a fantastic choice, just not all at the same time. You can quickly turn something that should be cute into feeling like a jail cell if all you see are stripes. So pick your favorite location for stripes in the room and leave it at that.
Where To Use Stripes - We just talked about not using too many stripes in one room, but what are all of the locations stripes could be used? I am glad you asked; here are just a few locations that a striped pattern can add some classic style to a room. Walls are a great place to incorporate stripes, as well as ceilings. This will give you a big, bold look as walls and ceilings take up a big surface area. Bedding also provides a classic and stylish look as it is another area that takes up a large amount of surface area. If you are looking for a little more subtle way to incorporate stripes, pillows, and area rugs, as well as lampshades, can offer some great options.
