“I purchased the Midcentury Waves in peel&stick. My 1959 bathroom has real wallpaper in it and I didn’t want to take the time to remove it and replace with real wallpaper, so peel&stick seemed like a good alternative. I will say the instructions given are difficult to follow in terms of corners, edges, the ceiling, etc. bc the backing on the peel and stick makes it nearly impossible to place where needed bc the backing is stiff, causing creasing and wrinkles in the wallpaper as you try to bend and manipulate it to fold where it needs to. And as the backing is peeled down, it layers over itself behind the wallpaper, making it ACTUALLY impossible to apply without cutting into pieces that are the actual size needed to cover the wall (instead of using one big piece to cut around windows and doorways. I learned A TON from this (first time) experience with wallpaper. I made a lot of mistakes, measured a lot of things incorrectly, cut a lot of crooked pieces, and almost didn’t have enough wallpaper bc of my cutting mistakes. But all-in-all, it looks pretty good and mostly everyone else won’t notice my mistakes when they use my bathroom. I love the vibe of this wallpaper, the customization option, and how there was an option to fit the post-modern style I’m going for in my bathroom! Despite the issues, I’d def buy again from LvD.”
