“I absolutely love this pattern. I was looking for a toile aesthetic without any of the typical pastoral characters; and this fairy and mushroom design was perfect. For my plaster wall, freshly painted with a custom color to match the matte backing of the wallpaper, I ordered the glissade in Eggshell and Carolina. It was especially nice that this pattern repeats at the edge perfectly with no need to keep multiple panels in a specific order - they are exactly the same, no matter how many you use. I also liked how sturdy the paper was; it did not rip easily or crinkle or pick up lots of lint/hair as I worked with it. Actually, I needed to bear down pretty hard with my new exact-o knife blade to cut off the top/bottom edges when a panel was complete. Made me feel like I couldn't hurt anything in the process and could really push this wallpaper around. The tutorials do not explain WHY you want to leave an inch at the top of the wall instead of simply starting with the already straight edge, but I figured it allows for if the ceiling is not straight all the way across. I decided to just trust the process of loosely taping a panel in place, with an inch allowance at the ceiling, and got myself a spray bottle and a ladder. The brayer included in the materials is all I needed for smoothing the panels down perfectly (as long as they were properly wet on the back). Some helpful additions were a work lamp creating raking light to reveal any bumps I missed in the first passes, a damp cloth to wipe off excess glue, and a towel on the floor to catch all the spraying/dripping water needed to activate the glue. A second person to hold the panel rolled up and keep it from getting wet all the way down as you're trying to secure the top is invaluable, too. There was one panel where I mistakenly left several dry spots right in the middle, making little proud air pockets off the wall, so I was able to test how easily the panels can be removed when I needed to peel it back and correct the mistake. More water under the edges and a little extra waiting time for saturation but then the paper came off with no rips and was still not too soggy to be adhered a second time. The product is very much as advertised when it comes to ease of application and removal. It has taken me four months to do a 12 foot wall (one 2 foot panel a day when I had the time and energy), but now that I'm finished, I am overjoyed with the look! (my picture is only partial progress but I think that's helpful when other reviews here have a finished room photo already) This is a step towards the bedroom of my dreams, and I am so happy that Love vs Design had the perfect product for my endeavor! Highly recommend.”

Review by DanielleHow Love vs. Design Is Taking Prepasted Wallpaper To New Heights
Prepasted wallpaper is a traditional wallpaper with adhesive, which you need to install already applied on the back. When you want to install it, you only need to activate the adhesive with water. This means you don't have to worry about buying paste or adhesive. To activate the adhesive, you can simply get the wallpaper wet. Spray the back of the wallpaper or even the wall with a water bottle. Once activated, the adhesive will form a bond between the wallpaper and the wall, ensuring it stays securely in place until you are ready to take it down.
We know that when you think of Love vs. Design, you most likely think of peel-and-stick wallpaper, but you can now find the exact same color customization options on traditional prepasted wallpaper. What makes our prepasted a good option for you? Below, you will find some of the reasons you might want to consider traditional wallpaper vs peel-and-stick.
4 Reasons Why Prepasted Wallpaper Is Awesome!
Simplified Installation Process: - Prepasted wallpaper is an option for homeowners as it comes with adhesive already applied to the back. This makes the installation process faster and easier, eliminating the need to apply paste or adhesive and reducing mess and cleanup time.
Seamless Look With No Overlap: - In order for the pattern to light up, peel-and-stick wallpaper requires a 1-inch overlap when installed. With our prepasted wallpaper, you will have what is called a butt joint, which means you have no overlap, so each panel lines up to create an almost invisible seam and a more flawless look.
Durability and Longevity: - Prepasted wallpaper is known for its durability, surpassing wallpaper choices in terms of resistance to humidity, moisture, and wear over extended periods. Its adhesive bond is exceptionally strong, ensuring that the wallpaper stays securely in place in high-traffic areas within the home.
Removability and Versatility: - Similar to other types of wallpaper, prepasted wallpaper is specifically designed to be quickly removed without harming the surface to which it is applied. This makes it an excellent choice for those who want decor changes or for individuals residing in properties, as it provides the convenience of effortlessly updating their living spaces.
So, if you came to Love vs. Design because you heard of peel-and-stick wallpaper, fabulous, but it might be worth looking at our prepasted wallpaper option as well to see if it might be the right fit for your latest home project.
