Before I place an order, can I see a preview of my Invitation with my wording and color change?

At Love vs Design we understand you are anxious to see what your final design would look like. Although, it does take time for our design team to typeset and personalize each of our products, so we can only change the text and colors after your order has been placed. When we personalize your text and design, we make sure the spacing looks good and the colors match your request.

To ensure that your design, colors, and wording are exactly how you want them to be, we include 2 free rounds of changes with each order. Please be aware that each round of change will only apply to your selected design and cannot be changed for another design.

Can I change the wording on a design?

We know that it is important that the wording of your stationery fits you and your wedding. You can customize any of our designs to say whatever you’d like by entering your unique wording in the 'WORDING AND SPECIAL REQUESTS' section. Our graphic designers can also make small edits to the placement of design elements for free so that your wording fits well with the layout of your favorite design.

To enter your unique message and any special requests, please use the 'WORDING AND SPECIAL REQUESTS' section. When submitting a request please ensure that the wording be exactly how you want this to appear on your design starting from top to bottom.

Can I order a sample in a different color?

Although our wedding stationery can be customized to meet your unique needs, please keep in mind that our samples do not include personalized text, photo, or color changes. All samples will be shipped as shown on our sample product pages.

All of our stationery is printed with the highest quality digital printing presses available. Our advanced technology printers use liquid ink (instead of toner ink) and the print quality has the same premium look and feel of offset printing / flat printing, without the added cost. All of our samples are printed on the same digital presses for color and quality consistency. Due to minimum order quantities we are unfortunately not able to print samples in custom colors.

Our sample package includes a color chart with our most popular colors for you to experience in person.

We understand that matching your ideal colors is important, and although we can’t change the colors of our samples, each sample package includes a color chart with our most popular colors for you to experience in person. Also, each of our stationery orders comes with 2 free rounds of changes to make sure the color is exactly how you want it to be.

Can I use the copy from one design for a different design?

Of course, our designs are specifically made to be portable. You’re free to mix and match wording from our examples as much as you like, just be sure to include whatever wording you decide on in the 'WORDING AND SPECIAL REQUESTS' section.

How do I reorder additional cards or envelopes?

Inviting more guests than you originally had in mind? No worries! You can order more invitations, save the dates, envelopes and more on our reorder page.

Do you make matching accessories like wedding programs or thank you cards that I cant find on your site?

Of course! All of our wedding suites are available in the following items: Wedding Invitation, Save the Date, Insert Card (accommodation card, direction card, etc), Response card, Wedding Program, Menu, Thank You card, Belly Bands, Engagement Party Invitations, Bridal Shower Invitations and envelopes with printed return address.

We haven't designed all matching items for each of our designs. If you're interested in a matching design that you can't find on our website, please contact us.

Photo Save the Dates / Postcards are the only designs that do not have matching wedding suites and we are not able to create matching wedding suites for these designs.

Do you send a PDF proof before printing our designs to ensure it looks the way we want?

Yes, within 3 business days after placing your order, you’ll receive a PDF proof. We want to get your design right! If you’re not completely satisfied, we offer two free rounds of changes. Once you approve, we’ll start the printing process. We’ll never start printing anything without your approval first.

How much text can I fit on my Invitation? Can I change the format a bit?

You can customize any of our designs to say whatever you’d like by entering your unique wording in the 'WORDING AND SPECIAL REQUESTS' section. Some examples of wording changes are: adding "Together with their parents" to the top of your invitations, including your website to your Save the Date, or offering 3 entrée options to check on your RSVP. Our graphic designers can make small edits to the placement of design elements for free so that your wording fits well with the layout of your favorite design.

We will do our best to accommodate your wording choice. However, please keep in mind that adding a great deal of information is not recommended to preserve the legibility of your text and the integrity of your design.

Is it possible to see my photo preview up in the Photo Save the Date design?

Absolutely! To help you choose from your favorite Save the Date design, email us at customerservice@lovevsdesign.com with 1-2 of your photos and let us know which Save the Date design you would like to preview. Please note that our previews are non personalized, however, you may choose one color per photo to preview. Also keep in mind that we can only preview 1 design per photo or 2 designs with one photo. Once we receive your request, we'll put together a jpg preview and email it back to you to review for your decision.

What do the paper color options white and cream refer to? If the invitation color is navy for example and not white or cream.

Our white or cream color option refers to is the color of the paper stock our designs are printed on. The background colors you see on the front of many of our designs are actually printed directly onto the white or cream stock as part of the overall design. You can change the background color of your design which will then be printed directly onto our paper stock.

Any text that is white on your design will show up white on white paper stock and it will show up cream on cream paper stock. Although, if you choose cream paper stock, please note that the colors of your stationery will print a bit warmer or creamier.

Please also note that the backside of your invitation will be left blank so it will remain the color of the paper stock (white or cream). If you’d like to have a color or pattern printed on the back of your invitation, we offer the option to print a backing on your design. You can see our backing options here.
