Today's Real Wedding Thursday, brings you to the Warm and Beautiful Southern California for the wedding of Monique & Scott. We loved working with this couple, who also offered some great advice to all the new couples out there planning their own wedding. We couldn't take our eyes away from all of their amazing all the photos. We hope you enjoy!

What was your highlight of the day?

Honestly, the whole day was both my husband's and my highlight. There were so many special moments that it is impossible to pick just one.

Do you have any advice to couples that are planning their upcoming wedding?

Yes, start early with your planning and don't be afraid to delegate jobs to close friends and family (and who you trust to get stuff done).Also, have fun with the planning process - work with vendors who are fun, creative and easy to work with (which I was lucky to have!).

Lastly, stay true to yourself and don't waste time and money on details that are not "you." Instead, focus on ways to creatively express who you both are and your love for each other on your wedding day. So be creative and be yourself.

Is there anything you would have liked to do differently?

No, I really can't think of anything. It all came together perfectly and everyone had a blast!

We thought it would be fun to design a playful card and some coupons for Valentine's Day. There is still some time left so start thinking about your coupon ideas. We designed these so you can fill them out yourself. Don’t worry, we added an expiration date and terms & conditions because we know how these coupons can go :)

Its easy to make these Valentine coupons and card:
Step 1: Go to the The Printable Templates Page.
Step 2: Click on 'Download the free template here' link.
Step 3: Print, cut and fold your cards and coupons together. For your envelope liners use some glue.
The pattern can be printed on the backside of the coupons or as an envelope liner.

We are pleased to introduce the marriage of Jennifer & Omeed from Pleasanton, CA

What was your highlight of the day?
There were soooo many highlights and special moments throughout our very special day! We had a blended wedding that included American and Persian traditions. For the Persian ceremony Omeed's beautiful mom Shiva helped us make our Sofreh Aghd, which is a spread filled with lovely and symbolic items like fruit, honey, a mirror, decorative eggs, and nuts. Our ceremony was officiated by Lauren VanHam, an interfaith minister from Berkeley, CA. She delivered a very personal, thoughtful, lovely ceremony we couldn't have been happier with.

Do you have any advice to couples that are planning their upcoming wedding?
Throughout the entire wedding planning process we received so much love and support from our families. If I could offer any piece of advice to future brides and grooms it would be to allow your families to be part of the process. I believe it is selfish and short sighted to go through the wedding and marrying process with the commonly held belief that it is "the bride's day." A wedding can be so much more than just a day dedicated to one person. It is also important to be secure with the bride/groom's vision of their wedding day and to express it and stand by it throughout the planning process.
